'Photography has been my companion for many years. It complements my career as a physiotherapist, specializing in infants and young children, which is about movement and stillness, about touch and about the wonderful moments of life and also its fragility. I see this reflected in the images I choose to keep.

Living in the harshness of the north has made finding those delicate moments more challenging, compared to the lushness and ease of temperate climates. But when holding a camera I discover what I might otherwise have missed.'
